Update

Am having major camera issues at the moment and as you can see by the awful quality picture below, am relying on the boy's blackberry camera >.<.
The yellow coat is a recent ebay (topshop) purchase and its so warm and comfortable.

On the writing front; am up to around 65,000 words and am currently editing it thoroughly so there are absolutely no mistakes... tiresome and exhausting work!

The Winchester Geese

So on friday, myself and the boy decided to take a trip to London, and what does it do?

It bloody rains! We had planned the trip a while ago as the boy had this week off work and wanted to visit his retro game shop in South London so as I have been reading about the infamous "cross bones graveyard", we decided to venture to both venues on the same day.
To get to his shop (in Streatham) we had to get the tube to Brixton then onto a red double decker bus which is about a 20 minute ride (sooo many stops) then its a short walk. The shop itself is pretty awesome (and i'm not a gamer) with arcade machines, stacks of controllers, various consoles and games if you were that way inclined, you could be in there a while! After buying a couple of light guns and 2 games for his sega saturn we headed to Pret for lunch (avacado and crayfish salad for me and a cheese and ham toastie for him) then traveled to Redcross way in Southwark to look at the shrine set up by the locals of the out…

Life

Life lately has been alright... my novel is coming along well thanks to the support of my loving fiance :) those evenings spent typing notes/altering paragraphs whilst watching him play GTA (I have a small go as well) are paying off. He's got this week off work so I doubt i'll get much reading/writing done, but no matter there is do deadline :)

We went for a short walk yesterday around the countrysideish part of where we live... this lead us to explore the mill factory. The Victorian part of the building is very creepy! No photos were taken of the mill as my lovely boy has changed his phone to a blackberry (shite camera) and we didn't think they'd come out that well (hence why I look like a ghost here)

I am wearing my beloved coat and a new skirt (£22 at topshop, where else)
